Our 2nd Anniversary

It’s a beautiful morning when a servant of God knocked on our door about an hour ago. Yes, she came to pray for us on our 2nd anniversary today, April 17th, 2012. We read & reflected the Word of God from Proverbs 24:3-4,

“By wisdom a house is built,

and through understanding it is established;

through knowledge its rooms are filled

with rare and beautiful treasures.“

Many thanks to Pdt. J. Simbong – Labada, STh for the morning service on our special day today 🙂

So, here I have my lyric as we step into another year of our family’s journey.

Since the day He brought us together

We knew He’ll bind us forever

In His peace and loving tender

We endure in every pressure

In our 2nd year today

On our knees we come to pray

Giving thanks for all His way

To keep our love so we can stay

Living My Life

I am grateful for God’s wonderful works in me..

I know that I am fearfully and wonderfully made..

Like this small green island,

I believe He has equipped me with so many potential..

Though sometimes it could be storm arround

But I know on which I stand

I am built upon the rock, the Living Rock!

There are times when I have to go through a process

Where my inner being need to be refreshed & renewed

To let the stream of His living water flowing in & cleanse me once again

And in His due time, the seeds He sows in me will grow

Under His loving care

But I have to give all my total-being under His control

A heart and willingness to learn from Him

Unless I will not bear good fruits in harvest time

Enjoy the bright days,

Endure the gloomy days,

In the end, when my tent shrinks away like the hut above

I could smile to see the harvest & the legacy I leave

Yet, I will not stop exploring more potentials & gifts

As long as it’s daytime

Every second counts

Every minute is too precious to ignore

Till it’s time when He considers me ready and said,

Welcome Home

Welcome Home My Child My Son;
Your work on earth has been well done.

You have been a witness to many while on earth;
And you’ve shared the story about the miracle birth.

You never hid the fact that you loved Me,
You shared the Word no matter what the need be.

You spoke of Me often to family and friends;
And you showed how faith can strengthen and often mends.

You did your best to always give glory to Me;
And for this; you will live eternally.

And now the time has come for you to rest;
I’m taking you home as My special guest.

Welcome Home My daughter; My child; My son;
Your work on earth has been well done.

Happy New Year 2012

Time is quickly ticking away. Happiness and sadness, laugh and tears, success & failures, gain and lost, and countless of ups and downs have colored up our life in the freshly past year of 2011.  Of those bright & dark colors, can you see what your ‘painting of life’ is like? Or maybe it’s just a part of an unfinished puzzle that yet to be solved in 2012?  Focusing on one dominant color could be annoying but observing from a considerable distance might give you a big picture of it. Whatever it looks like, it must be your most precious painting ever, much more valuable than any most expensive painting in the world.

There might be quite a lot of things we have been through that make us today.  If we look back, we might find so many unpleasing things happened either to or through us. But what could we do? We could not switch the time back and fix them out or do something about those things. Life must go on no matter what. As for me, I want to have a better ‘painting’ this year and am willing to learn from my mistakes in the past. I want to start every single day with a great determination to change, be a better person, & think of doing things differently in order to achieve my goals.

Should things go wrong unexpectedly, I know there is always Someone I can run to who will bring me back to the peace state of mind. Hereby, I want to say Happy New Year everybody! Dreams to fulfill, gifts to unwrap, days to unveil, all of those passions, it’s all ours to unleash accordingly. Like I quoted in my other blog, I would like to encourage you to not bring your potentials to the tomb because I believe that each and every one of us have been equipped with many talents and gifts to explore. Let’s cherish our gifts, before the twilight comes our way…

It’s another year to go through. Many uncertain things lays ahead but hope this song could strengthen us to live every single day in a full surrender to our Maker, the One who holds our tomorrow.

I don’t know about tomorrow;
I just live from day to day.
I don’t borrow from its sunshine

For I know what Jesus said.
